i did but im not sure i think the scorpio has electric heated front seats and i always missed the zeds electric seats.

If you go for the elite then it has memory front heated seats, memory mirrors, haeted rear seats, rear elec sunblind, bose sound system, and best of all its not a ford.

If you go for the scorpio, you get electric rear reclining seats and global closure on some models (it closes the windows/sunroof when you lock the doors with the remote), reverse parking sensors, traction control on some models, electric seats (both sides), dual climate control and quick clear heated front windscreen :)

I've had 7 granadas and they all share a majority of the same parts and are infinitely easier to get bits for. Cheap to run too.

The td is the way forward or 2.3 16v 150bhp for best of both worlds.

The autos are nice and smooth too

Personally I wouldn't, Indy.

I bought a Scorpio back in 1993. It was only 8 months old with, as you'd expect, very few miles under the belt.

I had it for about 2 maybe 3 months and it was without doubt the worst car I have ever had. Bloody thing spent more time back with Ford being repaired, than I ever spent driving it.

I liked the idea of owning one back then (why, I don't know - young and foolish I guess  ) so I did it. Pile of poo - stick with the Vauxhall IMO.

Richard :)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

IMO the Ford Scorpio is one of the worst cars ever. Its in my top gear book - Crap Cars.

Omega is way better.

We all know how you love the scorpio bud, but its just a ford which as you know means

Fix

Or

Repair

Daily

VXs are for better cars and have just as much stuff in them.

lol, never had a problem with any of mine, even my dads mundeo v6 ghia x only ever had one blowout and a relay go on it. apart from that did 78k without a hitch

I bought an omega six years ago that had 90 thou on the clock and was 4 years old.I ran it for 4 years and only had to replace the cat's(£300).Great car,2.0 did 135 mph on the motorway.Comfy too.Owned lot's of fords and there all shhiite!

My missus dad has a Scorpio...with the 2.9 V6 24V Cosworth engine. It is damn quick and very comfy at the same time with all of the elctrics. He paid 1300 from ebay....

what is everyone's beef with ford on here? :D the old ones were well built and reliable cars. everyone our family's had had been absolutely spot on apart from my shiiite fiesta but i was the only person i know to have a bad one so i don't judge them

Best thing you can do with the best Scorpio is to take the 2.9L 24V engine and sling it straight into a Capri 2.8i :)

Are we talking about the ugly bug eyed scorpio the one knowbody at ford desgin will own up who desgined the car . :D :D :D

It was absolutely mint, non modified :) My first proper car! Cost me 2300 quid to buy with 40k on the clock then subsiquently cost me 3000 quid to repair over 2 years bloomin thing. Never had a car long enough to cost me that much every again

I liked the older Granada Estate 2.8i Ghia X. Nice sharp lines.

Had one of those (well the 2.3 v6), absolutely mint condition only i couldn't warrant keeping it though it was concourse condition and i didn't own a garage :(

Its a Ford, GM thing in America and Australia.

I think you either like Fords or you just detest them mate, and when you have had bad ones then it puts you right off them.

hasnt everyone had a fiesta or two ?

Are you mad never, never, never :D
