Hi,

 

 

Just a few words to introduce The Zen Garage, who we are and what we aim to achieve.

 

My name is Mark Hanley and my user name is TopLess (Not due to my Page three antics, but I own a convertible 300ZX ;o)), many of you have met me at meets and have chatted on the forum in my previous role as Club Secretary.

 

During my time on the forum and my five years of owning a zed, it became frustrating to see so many people who own and love their cars become victims of garages out to earn a quick buck at the expense of the owner and their car!

 

It also became apparent that some of the modifications and upgrades sold for the 300zx were not suited to the car. This often resulted in no increase in performance and at worst engines destroying themselves.

 

Like you I share a passion for the 300zx and I have joined forces with a race mechanic Martyn Butler, who owns a 300zx and has rebuilt about twenty zed engines, to date all still running perfectly today, he has built race engines for, Thierry Boutsen to name but one client.

 

Since we are both qualified mechanics and worked very well together in my own project Twin Turbo charging my convertible zed, it made sense to offer our services to the 300ZX community, and after being asked by many members to start this here we are!

 

We have combined our skill, knowledge, experience and contacts to offer proven reliable upgrades from a proven workshop, that will not be farming out engine rebuilds but doing the work ourselves. So that we have just as much interest as you, in getting the work right, first time, every time and making sure that it is a quality product with a guarantee to match.

 

Martyn has a reputation for taking on bespoke automobile projects and people come to him because of this, in fact he enjoys proving people wrong when they tell him it can’t be done, so anything you have in mind for your car can be discussed. We have Bases in London, Sussex (Horsham) and Lincolnshire and to extend on our flexibility we can even travel and pick up your car.

 

We can take care of any maintenance aspect of your zed from basic servicing to engine, gearbox and autobox rebuilds and upgrades, and to take your zed to new BHP levels would put a smile on our face as well. Even if you do not own a Zed and want someone with knowledge to inspect a vehicle for you, we will come out and cast our eye over it.

Thanks have got swapping ISP issues at the mo and am in the middle of this not being able to send emails :confused:, will try and be in contact soon.

I've had various work done by the Zen garage and would highly recommend them mate ;)
