stock audio

Well all the amps on my stock bose system are dead they just put out a high pitched noise. So i hooked my speakers directly to my new h/u even the dash speaker but one of my rear speakers is blown and my h/u only puts out 40 watts and the speakers strain the deck so i was thinking of replaceing the rear speakers with some 100w peak ones and running a amp to all the speakers but befor i do i was wondering what the peak wattage on the stock speakers in my 90 2+2

    i dont know what the stock wattage is on them but i think the impedence is lower than normal car speakers that are about 8ohms

    As above. This causes the speakers to make popping noises at high volume. Best off replacing all stock speakers.

    well i found out the hard way that the stock speakers are 1ohm i killed an amp it sucks
