Is there any links/writeup to changing a S1 PTU to a S2 PTU ? I am ashamed to say, I couldn't even find the S1 PTU today after faffing around for 30 mins under the hood. Is the conversion a doddle or a pain ? However having problems finding it in the first place. Has anyone got a photo of it whilst on the engine ?

Also any ideas where this temp sensor goes ? (Just got one off MJP except always thought it was a yellow one but was given a blue version for some reason).

PTU sits on the drivers side cam cover. To change from S1 to S2 the 2 plugs are converted with an adaptor harness, simple as that. Sorry I dont have any pics.

its well easy to change, take off the pipe for access, unplug and unscrew the s1, screw in the s2 and plug in and reconnect the pipe.

Do I have to take the pipe off ? My pipes are seriously stiff mate as I tried to replace before with hard pipes.

Yes, you probaby will have to, just to get to the bolts that hold the old one on.
