if you not sure, i'd just change it tbh.

    They don't cost much, approx £12 I seem to recollect, so just get a new one.

    You cant check or open it .You can get from nissan dealer too.

    Just make sure to let the pressure out of the system before changing the filter otherwise you'll have a fountain of petrol spray everywhere. Easiest way is to leave it overnight before changing it.
