All the best hope it's not a long delievery.

All the best for tonight and to you both in the future matey from me and Lucie! :D

thanks all i just had to come back home, it seems that the husband cant stay in overnight at this fookin hospital so i now have to wait till 9am in the morning before they will let me back in, needless to say i did complain, and made it very clear that i would be complaining to the trusts head and the hospital management, oh and i may have dropped in the fact my grandfather is lord pritchard of monmouthshire to the one trust manager who happened to appear, it was at that point the blood seemed to drain from his face as he realised who he was and who i was (my fathers side of the family are all blue blood he is a snob and proud of it, i however hate earl grey tea). i also made it clear that if i had known this i would have paid for the private room which as it happens has a bed in for the husband... go figure!! apparently i cant do that now as its too late. i pity the nurses as they were willing to let me stay but one arseh0le consultant wouldnt let me... needless to say after ringing my father he did offer to "get it sorted" but woman calmed me down and all is fine. i will carry the phone round my bloody neck all night

wierd really as when my sister had her baby in manchester royal her husband slept in, my other sister in cardiff he slept in, this hospital in abergavenny.. nope fook off!

so now i gotta stay awake all night worrying and waiting for the bloody phone to ring... i was a happy bunny earlier, now im a worrying old git!

That's completely outrageous. :headvswal What if your dear wife won'ts you with her. I won't have left mate, you should go back straight away and refuse to leave your wife's side.

I was not allowed anyone to stay with me at night either unless I was actually on the delivery suite.

Even when I paid a small fortune for a private room that was not big enough to swing a cat in. Paul still had to be gone by 6!!!

They said it was down to the fact that if they let me then they would have to let others and then it was a security risk for baby snatching .......blah blah blah

It must be so frustrating for you sat at home just wondering.

Im sure they will call you as soon as anything happens. In the meantime we are thinking of you.

Paul & Anna

So you'll be twitchy for the next few hours I'm sure mate. We've all been there, on MOT day with our Zeds! :slap:
