Well after a lot of consideration we got an estate to ferry the boy and his pushchair about in. A Vauxhall Signum, it's great, comes fully loaded, leather, climate control, SatNav, the list goes on. Forgotten little gem in the Vauxhall line up!

The Signum is not an estate car, never has been and wasn't marketed by Vauxhall as one! :rofl:

 

Executive hatch back was the term used when launched. Nice car though. Bit like a MK5 Astra on Steroids. The Irmscher kitted ones are nice. 3.2 V6 is a good engine also.

As soon as I pressed enter I knew someone would pass comment on the word estate! :tongue:

None the less, a lot of car with all the goodies for sensible money!

Deffinately. They are better specced than the Vectras. I like them. Certainly one of the biggest hatchbacks around, but don't look out of proportion.

 

What engine size did you go for? 1.9 CDTi?

That's the one, would have considered the 3.0 V6 CDTi but manuals are very rare.

Still good engines. You know they fit that engine in the new Astra 888...it's remapped and has 200bhp. Not bad for a 4 cylinder oil burner.

 

Get yours remapped and it'll be not far off that.
