Do you feel as sick as I do?

A m8 at work showed me the paper today with the governments latest daylight robbery tactics for car tax.

It would cost me £1500 a year to tax my Z and £600 to tax my 1.2 Punto.

Who, I mean WHO the fook comes up with this sh*t

If it happens I’ll be very p*ssed off.

i think you will find its more like £1800 for a zed!!!

robbing cnunts

i mean i pay 40% tax, NI, VAT, Tax on my comp car, Petrol is taxed etc etc etc etc etc

So once you have actually got your wages and paid your bills you have paid Mr Brown god knows how many different tax's and left with 50p

:( SHIT!! i thought it was just gonna be for the 4x4s

do you think it will happen though??

surely their would be uproar!

fookin w@nkers

It won't happen!

This Bullshit story pops up every few years

Can you imagine the Party that brought this in they would be out first vote FFS

You have to remember there are more normal Folk like us Vote, than there are

the Fookin Grow your own Yogourt and Knit your own sandles Brigade

:)

how is this tax worked out?

on CO2's etc so as our car will be off the scale we will no doubt be in the top bracket but i think the top bracket is meant to be more for the porkas, ferraris and range rover drivers of this world but it will also effect us :(

No, it can't happen. The country would collapse. As Mick has said, I heard something like this about 5 years ago...back then £800 for anything over a 2.0.

....to add to the matter, the government have been spending millions on testing for pay per mile and doing away altogether with car tax and reducing fuel duty.

Why don't they just put road tax on fuel, FFS it's easy the more you use the car the more you pay...Simple

whaaaaattttttttt  if this shit happens ime gunna stalk mrs blair and pay 6 easten block gipo,s to gang rape her in the back of a ford transit :headvswal and get a bank loan to pay for it,thats goin to cripple the nation

it will never happen, however i reckon we are just been buttered up for a rise in car tax come budget time. If people start shitting themselves about it now, when "Mr (errr as of 6 o'clock tonight) Brown stands up com busget time and announces a 20 quid rise on car tax, everyone goes " phew that was close.. much better than the 1500 quid we were expecting to pay" end everyone breathes a sigh of relief. The government have got an extra 20 quid out of you and youre happy about it. Read between the lines kids, this is reverse psychology at its finest. They do it all the time in big companies too, massive job cuts threatened , 'only' to end up with a few going.

I also noticed the tracking cars and pay per mile was rearing its head in the papers again, again it will never happen, however more rods will become tolls, again the agenda all along, it just wont seem as bad.

On this pay per mile malarkey, one of the lads at our place whos only on about 12k worked out that at the PPM rates suggested it would cost him 64K to get to work every year. its never going to happen.

However, if it does.. i'm off out of this country for good, i'm selling up and off to hire jetski's on the beach.

I have a friend yeah!!!

who is doing the software for the pay per mile thing tax...And I have seen It work...All I can say is bring it on...This super tax is pant's..If labour brought it in they are gone.. they already drawing to much money off the common man...for other things...like refugees ok lets not go down the line....... but you get my point.

how much tax money do they want from cars

and where does it all go

it certainly doesnt all go on the roads, otherwise we would have super highways like in america.

today;;;

i agree with the fuel tax

get rid of road tax and toll roads, and put it all on fuel

that way you pay for how much you use the roads.

also, WHY should you pay road tax on how many cars you have

you can only drive one on the road at once

here, here tizer fella i insure 5 vechicles

Remember what happened when they put the petrol prices up.

People were blocking the petrol stations and going mad trying to buy petrol.

Just think what would happen if this did happen.

I just hate it when stuff like this comes up, these cars cost enough money to keep on the road without this sh*t.

I like the idea of dropping road tax completely and just adding on a few pence per litre its one less thing to worry about looming up.

I think a online petition is in order, to get road tax scrapped and this PAYG bullcrap and to put it on Fuel (it would prob be about 20p extra per Ltr) that way anyone using UK Roads that have fuled in the UK pay Road tax it would save millions wasted in running road tax and stoopid ideas like PAYG.
