I replaced my jap spec rear lap belts with UK 3-point ones today and had no problems.
I was planning to replace my door mounted belts with UK pillar mounted ones at some stage too. However, although the mounting point were there with the threaded back plate for the rear belts, there are only holes for the front belts - no threaded plate to screw into!
So, can I just not do it? Or is there some way round the problem? Obviously I don't want to do anything that's going to make the seat belts useless if I do have a crash! :headvswal
