Excellent mate, thankyou, member list of all ZX Owners from North West is very helpful, I'll try and contact each of them for a chat.

I'm in Chester and someone actually mentioned the pinballers to me at USC yesterday....how closely associated are you with the "MNR" lot.

I was thinking of going along to one for a nose but couldnt find out when or where they were. Some girl from the club ( spoke to her on MSN a couple of times) was going to let me know when the next one was but she didint. i've since scrubbed her from msn so i dont know who it was.

The age bracketing... don't worry about it, if you're young at heart and like to take your car out for a blast very late at night...and would like to meet up regularly with a few other Japanese Sports Car Owners ( I mentioned the age thing because that's how old are we are mid to late 20's) here in your area, then please drop me a line.

Re: Street Racing, it's not really the typical boy racer rubbish, you'd have to pop out with my friends and I for an evening to get an idea.

You're very right, We just try to make sure we don't bring too much attention to ourselves on the road etc, keep ourselves to ourselves on routes we know are GATSO/Patrol Car Friendly and do it very late at night (2-3am in the morning). You'll have to pop down sometime bud as most of us are just down the A494 from you.

Z-Nut, I'm sure we've met before on the A55 (Do you remember a white EVO4 when you were taking your wheels to get refurb'd?) Is yours a Silver 300ZX, I remember the guy definately had a Mine's ECU and his rims were Volks inside the car...

I was passenger in friend's EVO4.. white with rubbish Ralliart stickers on it! lol.

PS. I own a BNR32GTR not a 300ZX but have always liked the Fairlady, have worked on a couple at GPS, would be great to get a one or two Z's in the Pinballers. Cheers!

I'd love a shot at drag racing as I've done Ty-Croes on Anglesey and i wasn't really impressed. The circuit is too small for the price you pay to get on it.

How much is Ty Croes mate? Looks like they struggle to get up to any speed on the TV programme 5th Gear.

I paid £140 for a full day open pit as a special offer to make up the numbers as it was supposed to be a Honda Revolutions day but obviously all these fanny type-R drivers didn't buy their cars to race :xxx:

 

Even the longest straight will struggle to see 100+ before you have to brake or end-up in the sea. Each lap is barely 60 seconds - so it gets repetative quite quickly.

 

And then you've got the micro-genitals who go there believing their manhoods depend on them overtaking you on corners, and if you could see their faces in their overpriced helmets youd see them grinding their teeth!! :rant:

That's taking it far to seriously and it pretty much spoilt the day for those of us who were there to just push their cars in a "safe" environment! I came away thinking I could have more fun on the road. :x:

Haven't been on in a while cause I got the Mrs an Evo3 which proved to be more trouble than it was worth so spent a lot of time on the MLR forum fishing for advice. Anyhow, the Evo has now gone back to where it came from and now she has a Dyson.... shit errr... I mean Smart car.
