Going to get some paintwork done in a month or so's time, one of the list of jobs is to get the tailgate sorted out and re-painted. Now I want a factory finish (ie, not mask up to the seal), so will be removing the rear screen rubber seal....which has now turned horrible and brittle. So will be replacing that.

What I want to know is, can this particular new seal be fitted without having to remove the screen> I've been told by a few people that it can if done correctly.

Anyone away of this?
