Yeah I know this is a stupid but.........

 

my oil pressure starts of at 4 when I start the engine, then slowly goes down to 0 after a few miles.

 

Is this right?

yeah they are rubbish, mine is the same, works for about 5min, get an aftermarket one

in fact rubbish is a compliment

changed mine over to a stealth 2 gauge and sender the other day and it is soooo much better

Sounds like the sender unit - they are always going wrong.

 

You can buy a new Nissan sender but they cost upwards of £80, so most go for an aftermarket fitment.

 

I prefer stock looks and don't like a plethora of guages so I paid the £80......
