Turbo leakin!!!

Hi Gents :)

Hope someone can throw some light my way, just got my two recon tubbs uprated with 360 bearings and a step gap seal, put these on the engine and dropped the lump back in a couple of days ago.

Primed the tubbs, then started her, let her tick over for 5 mins to warm up, when i turned her off i got back under car and looked up and noticed that the passenger side tubb was very slightly leakin oil, from where the centre housing meets the exhaust housing, i checked the oil feed and return and both dry, even rang the people who did them for me and they couldnt under why!!

They said if it was leakin there it would be gettin into the exhaust housing causing everyones fav blue smoke!!

But there was no smoke at all!! :headvswal

Any ideas!?!?!

Cheers Andy :)

Might not be the turbo leaking oil..

small signs of oil (drops) on the turbo housing are usually from leaking rocker covers...not from the turbos.

a leaking turbo (eg. bad oil feed, cracked CHRA) will usually leak bad and it will gush out loads of oil in most cases.
