underseal

Just got my zed back from having the rear sill welded and need to get on and underseal the car.

 

im going to go for waxoyl, Im expecting a dirty job but after bit of advice really.

 

Guessing the old underseal can stay on the car as long as its clean and just add a new layer ontop?

 

Guessing waxoyl can be applyed to most of the underside of the car? anywhere to avoid (drain holes etc...suspension components..)

 

Also, guessing it can just be brushed on with a paint brush?

    Yep, be carefull of the targa drainage tube. Its towards the rear of each sill, near the back wheel. Its when this gets blocked that the water finds a new route to escape and causes the sills to rot.
