good or bad deal? plz help

hello i am from Europe but i moved to USA and i want to buy a 300zx and i found this very nice one it is $12,500 it looks nice and has very low miles the specs are:

1990 300zx tt

Price: $12,500

Body Style: Hatchback

Mileage: 55,000

Transmission: Manual

VIN JN1CZ24A8LX001445

i checke don kelly blue book and according to them this car is only around $5,000 now should i break ti down to him $5,000 or what? it does look liek it has a few extras but that doesnt mean a few extra tohusand dollars

it doesnt say that it has anything special other then "530 JWT TTurbo" i do not know whats so special aobut it, is that a cusotm turbo or the stock one?

well what do you guys thik is it a good deal or should i leave it, in america cars that are over 10 years are considered junk, dealers dont buy them, insurance companies dont value those cars, and this is 1990, so the model was introduced in 1989 probably, and form then till 2007 thats like 18 years thats almost 20 years. also on carfax this car has 6 record so i dont know if it was crashed or anything those could just be service checks paint, oil change, etc, but 17 year chances are there is damage done to it, also this car is prone to breaking down anytime because it is so old, and i will have to put my own money into it to keep it in good shape and nicely running.

please give me some advice on this and please do not flame, thank you very much guys

edit: i found another 300zx but tihs one is a 1995 40,000 miles, and by the looks of it on the picture it doesnt look like ti has any visible damage but it could have been rebuilt, on the ad it just said how to contact the guy andits 1990 manual 5spd 40k miles and he wantsd $5,900 and on kelly blue book its around that price

sorry i made a mistake i mean that the onther one i found is a 1995 manual 40k miles fro $5,900

I looks a nice car, but they all do, and if the book says $5000 then thats what you should be looking to pay, unless it has.

A: Genuine, documented low milage, and I do mean low, less than 5000 miles.

B: Is uprated and is emaculate (doubtfull if its uprated, no one sells emaculate cars)

C: Is a Tommy Kiara or Stillen limited edition.

Anything other than thoes, its not worth more than it says in teh book.

it really depends on what he will take!! would you want to drop that much on a car?!?!?

if its one you like the look of then go get more spec on it - if its got JWT 530's it could have bigger injectors, IC's etc etc.
