How many litres for Autobox refil

What is the correct qty of oil to refill the Z from complete empty including torque converter.?

And in my manual its lists dextron fluid. I believe ATF3 and ATF4 are the same or better ??

Mines a jap spec Auto 1992 Twin Turbo

Any help please !! :)

    Not really i got that on disc

    You see i removed about 4 litres f oil from my dead box which had no leaks !!

    So 8 litres listed is causing me some concern, as when i stick the new box in i do not want to underfill the box !

    Also need confirmation that ATF4 is ok to use.

    Im sure i read in one of my technical books at work that ATF4 Is a direct replacement for Dextron ??

    So you see im confused.

    I used 10 litres of vegetable oil in mine and it runs like a dream! I'd try that mate.

     

    You can trust my technical knowledge, I'm an expert on these things.

     

    Seriously though, good luck with that mate, the sooner it's up and running again, the sooner we can go for a cruise!

     

    Now, can someone actually help with this? :rolleyes:

    I spoke to Scott at Redline Imports today about my service, and he said he's going to be using ATF3, and he knows his stuff! So maybe I can help a bit after all!
