Hi all me again i have a slight problem with 4th gear sometimes it crunches a bit when on the power as if i havent the clutch pressed full (even though i have)

Any ideas as to the problem?

syncromesh? or selector forks? and how to fix?

i had the same problem with mine.

With my friend, we opened the gearbox to change the synchro but unfortunately, we broke (as plenty people) the 3rd gearwheel...

 

it cost me a brand new gearbox (2600€=1700£)

you could try changing the gearbox oil to redline mt90 this solved my problem .it probably hasn't been changed for a long time if at all

Yes redline mt 90 from demond tweeks 3.1 litres i think 4 quart bottles , give it 500 miles to work dont panic if it doesnt cure straight away .
