Im having a few problems with my sound system, theres no sound!! Checked in the back and ive just noticed that the battery saver thing isnt working so it could be that

im also trying to get the radio out so i can check all the connections, just my luck it doesnt just slide in and out. Ive taken the 2 top screws out near the air vents and the 2 above where the radio sits but the centre console still wont come out. Is there anymore screws hiding anywhere or do i have to be a bit more brutal with it and just pull? :(

please reply asap, going to a cruise tonight and the car is really quite, its not good!!

Just pull the centre console out with everything attached and unplug the clock as i think this gives better access, Then theres 2 or 4 more screws under that mate.

OMG!!!! wish id never started, Got the thing off, thanx guys. But you should see how many wires are behind it, theres 3 unpluged but i dont think there meant to connect to anything, why is electical stuff soooo confusing

First time i had mine out i ripped about 3 meters of wire out that was doing nothing!

whoever put the stereo in before my alpine one really bodged it - i had wires all over the place.

just followed all the wiring methodically and got rid of half of it. I think there used to be a carphone linked into it, which meant there was loads of wiring left that didnt actually go anywhere!
