Has anyone fitted one of these??

reason for asking is i am doing an oil change in the morning and have one of these that i bought from getgreddy. Problem is it is a lot smaller diameter size than the normal one although the sealing end (with the o ring ) is the same size the whole filter is much slimmer.

it does say its for a z32 on the box but am a bit dubious to fit a skinnier filter

so has anyone fitted one and had any problems??

cheers

If it's that magnetic one that was a Group Buy then I've had one fitted. The mechanic did comment on it's size (oooo-err) but so far it's been OK. Oil temp seems normal and it doesn't leak or anything.

Well it's a manual, NA - with an Apexi filter, chipped and decat exhaust.

Recently did a 300 mile round trip to JAE with no oil temp/pressure probs at all.

That was motorway driving at 70mph with occassional "upward excursions" ;)

Greddy/trust oil filters are smaller than stock ones as well mine came over from japan with one on no problems .

Liam, I think i have one somewhere, PM me an offer, presuming i can find it lol
