Hi Guys Was Thinking Of Changing My Prop For A One Piece, Either Alloy ,or Carbon, Any Ideas Where To Get One From, And Has Anyone Done It, And Was It Worth The Expence Cheers Guys .ian

the only downside with a 1 piece,is if it shatters/snaps and it happend to drop to the floor your car may make a good pole vault,iv heard of it happening :wack:

 

there is a company in newbury that do 1piece props etc do a search for a company in newbury,not sure of name hence brief explaination :)

i wouldnt go for an alloy prop as its not got the strength so if your going for one then either steel or carbon, personally i went for the steel as its just as strong and yes its a little heavier but not that much heavier and concidering the steel one is about £200 and the carbon on over £1k :)

It's out at Z-Tech right now. I'm going out there on the 11th. Can I tell you then ( at that point I'll give you the low-down on it ).

Not sure exactly what it is.. only that it is custom made and lightweight ( as per the advert when I bought the car )

 

After the 11th.. I'll come back to this thread and give you the low-down. if you are still interested, I'll get it to you at a deal.
