...although not on a huge amount.

*Both rack bushes (on subframe) were both worn.

*Nearside steering rack gaitor split

*Nearside front wheel bearing.

I'm glad the wheel bearing was found as I'd gone round the car and tested them for myself, but not rotated. All appeared fine, but I had noticed a funny rumbling previous to knowing of the bearing. It never varied with direction, so didn't think it was a front bearing.

The two guys doing it commented on how tidy the car was and how clean the underside was. :)

Kinda happy in a way...A) that not much needs doing and B) the lightly rumbling has now been found.

The emissions were high, although it still passed. I think that's down to a lazy 02 sensor.

TBH, I looked at what it failed on and totally agreed with the test. The boot is badly split, the racking is moving from side to side and the bearing does sound awful up close.

Sorry to hear it fail bud .. mine failed last week on the same steering gator .. must be a common thing? and rear number plate lights .. chin up bud could of been a whole lot worse

I'm not actually that bothered. I just worry. Anything that needs replacing for an MOT is only going to be of benefit to the car.

The rest of the car flew through. The brakes I've been told are very good...in terms of even pressure.
