Any ideas chaps??

 

came back to the zed after watching the travesty of Superman returns - tried flicking on headlights but noresponse - turning the switch on just gives me full beams. Check the fuse in the dreivers footwell and its blown. I replaced it twice but it blows immediately each time.

 

So where do i go from here to get things sorted?

you have a short somewhere.

 

have you recently changed your stereo or fitted anything new?

if not, you will need to check your lights for earth faults, one by one mate.

Dammit sounds complex - I am crap with this sort of thing - anyone know anywhere in the Manchester area who is recommended for this sort of thing? Electrics specifically rather than general Zed garages?

any auto electrician can sort it, but it could take a few minutes, or a few hours to find mate.

 

my mrs na had this, and it took me hours to find, hers was a lose wire behind the stereo.

 

if you were closer, i'd offer to take a look, but your a bit far for me to pop over lol
