no my old engine is getting refreshed as we speak, well not at this time but its all stripped down and is going in another members car ;) but i wanted a special spec :duffer:

Only thing is ive had to drop the solid lifters as the cams are simply too higher lift so i would have had to have some specially made so gone with just new oem lifters :)

the cams are special order 280 degree with 10.2mm lift which are a little big really and my builder wanted me to have the next size down but i wanted to prove how much power a zed engine can make so went for the largest :)

 

theres no way on earth i would ever make 4 figures!! for a start my injectors would only ever give me enough fuel for 800RWHP maybe a little more and with the 20g turbos 800 would be at there limits!! i suppose with a huge amount of NOS i may be able to and i do plan on nos but only about 100 shot, 50 each side to spool the tubs up ;)

should be crated up next week and shipped then i should allow about 2 weeks for it to get here then its a case of bolting all the bits onto it and sticking it back together and in the car. as much as i wanted it by the end of august, i seriously doubt it as my manifolds wont be here for 3-4 weeks!! but you never know!? :)

i am now running 35/35 shot and bud , i could get 50/50shot but the timming is to far advanced(16.5 tdc)....and mine is a raty j-spec n/a...but she love's me and i her.. :)

i know it would handle alot of nos but with running big boost its just not worth it. just enough to spool them turbos up so would get the nos programmed into my ecu from about 2000 revs to 3500 revs and thats it ;) the turbos can do the rest :)

do you have the software to run the NOS off the REVS . as i was told it was not about just yet but on the way.....??????

my AEM ecu has built in full NOS control ;) not sure what sensors you would need but it can control a full nos map

I'm a sales manager for a courier so i'm not exactly rich!? wish i was but i do OK :) but i still have the kids, wife, mortgage, bills like everyone else but i try to put money into it when i have spare money :wack:

 

The wife found out the other day roughly what i have spent on the engine and other bits so things are a little frosty at the moment lol

You gotta love the banks at the moment for low cost loans...

 

I might put a post up asking what people do, as I never have any money, but I think that's more to do with my family(4 kids), mortgage, bills, regular car problems!! :D

 

I need a part time money earner, so I can fund a Zed addiction!! :D

I can honestly put hand on heart and say i have not got into any debt with this car ;)

 

I only have 1 kid but do have a fairly big mortgage lol and i have a company car so i dont have to worry about regular car issues :)

 

I'm quite luck as i get a yearly bonus which paid for the engine etc
