im servicing tha "Z" this weekend an wondered how much oil should i buy in an is it worth changin the fuel filter personally i wasnt gonna do it but thought id ask??

However from experience, when doing an oil and filter change, my mechanic is given 4 litres only as it is very easy to overfill the 300zx. The oil takes a fair while to drain back into the sump, thus when checking the dipstick it gives the impression there is not enough in yet.

 

However he puts in just under the 4 litres, leaves it 1/2 hour then when he checks it, hey presto - bang on full :cool:
