My recently purchased z has a KN Filtercharger sticker under the bonnet. I even give Bell Direct an extra £30 for the priviledge. Taking off the centre panel reveals what looks to me like a standard Nissan filter - all black plastic and looking like it has two paper elements. A KN should look like a conical convoluted thing n'est pas? Or could some scuz z owner have swapped mine for his standard one before the car was sold to me??? Is this possible? What is one of these supposed to look like and what does it cost?

If you have the K&N paper elements inside the stock airbox then it certainly isn't worth the extra £30 you have paid.

You may as well remove the stock airbox and get an air filter like you thought you were paying for.
