JWT Exhaust

Anyone on here got the JWT exhaust for the SWB TT ? Was thinking of upgrading and wondered if anyone had tried it?

Featured Replies

just out of interest how much is the JWT exhaust and why are you going for that one rather than a mongooooooooose or a Greddy or an HKS one?????

Just wondering....i'm that sort of person!!!

I haven't got one myself, but I know someone who has one on his car.

It's a very quiet exhaust..slightly deeper sound then stock.

As for performance gains: all aftermarket exhausts give the about same gain..doesn't really matter if you go for a JWT, HKS, Greddy, B&B, Blitz, etc.

Was just thinking about the JWT one because his stuff seems to be good. Mongoose don't do one for the SWB, don't like the HKS single tail pipe and didn't know greddy did one!! Might go for a blitz Realize TT, also seem to be highly recommended.

Decided to get a system because I had a rolling road session at the weekend, and the power was flat for the top 1500-2000 revs (290bhp at wheels). Rolling road guy reckons that's the stock exhaust reaching it's flow limit.

hey john,

Are you talking about the exhaust on courtesy nissan?

If ur not, check it out! ITS LUUUURVLY!

Only one I can find is the Borla one, but it's mild steel - is that the one you meant, looks pretty like the stock one ??

John, Johnny does some nice pipes for the SWB, (see pic in my rides). Didn't cost a fortune either.

Did have to straighten tailpipes after fitting but otherwise very nice. Sound slightly louder than stock.

John, the blitz is supposed to be a very good system but a bit on the loud side for me although they do come with a quietening bung, but i think that defeats the object!!!

Check, but i think you'll find a lot of the exhausts to be the same from the cat back as it's the front pipes that are the difference between the SWB and the coupe (so i've been told).

Greddy do do a system but its £960,called Maximum Extreme, i have one on my car, funnily enough, and it sounds the tits, rumbles like a plane, really deep and not too loud!!!

Having said that, the Courtesy Nissan one is one of the nicest ive seen and would definately consider it at that money...

Good luck

Paul
