Can you have multiple maps setup??

if you can, can they be switched while driving??

Reason being is that i want a steady map, agressive map and agressive with anti-lag.

I don't know anything much about them but on the car I looked at a few months back with motec (boomin33 bought it in the end) you could turn anti lag on and off. The owner said he never really used it though as it was very extreme on fuel and spitting lots of flames!

we like flames

Well that's good then. just need to know now if i can have 2 different maps and if they are switchable while driving.

yeas on motec maps are switchable and you can ask for a switch to be added with it. antilag is also switchable on the motecs. For more info give norris designs a call as they are a motec main disti

Yup but i only would use it on the odd occasion.

Would also invalidate your warranty on the turbos :(

Im sure its switchable, if its ECU your on about.

from what I remember JD had 4 maps (I could be wrong) on his car

something like chip is 1Mb and maps take up 256K each -

I know he switched between maps on his - (custom build jobbie not motec).

All from what I remember

The M800 is very flexible and mine has a couple of pre-set mappings..

Owen Developments are meant to be pretty good too.. if you are in the Oxford area.. http://www.owendevelopments.co.uk

I've got a tee time booked for early August... I'll be able to give you a rating after that.

Owen Developments are absolutely superb. By far the best RR setup I've seen and good blokes too. It's no coincidence that they do loads of developement work for manufacturers.

Jay: You're right, the thing in my car was just a board I made for the stock ECU to have 4 maps.

You might find on the new motech you don't need separate 'aggression' maps as I think you can program different sets of maps for different throttle positions.
