Kakimoto Racing

Hi,

I bought a swb Z that has been tuned by Kakimoto Racing, does anybody know anything about them, also it is meant to have been chipped by them, how do I identify that and are their chips any good?

Cheers

If it's been chipped the boost has probably been raised too. Check the guage to see if it goes higher than stock (Can't remember but think it's about 9psi normally)

If it hits the end of the guage then it has!

The only other way is to open up the ECU and check the label on the ROM.

you could hang around and wait for a passing stock Z and give him a race... biggrin.gif

I have there wheels on my import Z I think they have a web site..

Jan..

found this one but since don't speak J apart from Hai Anjin-san and Wakarimasen can't tell if it is any use. They do seem to have a good rep on some other foreign sites tho.
