Took a friend out today, who commented that the car was not as quick as he thought it should be, and to be honest I think I agree.

Just thought I would let you know as I am a little gutted.

Thanks, will look into that.

I was just under the impression that you would get chucked back into the seat, but I don't feel that way. Think my best idea would be to wait until Sunday and have a go in another standard car.

The v6 can often deliver power very smoothly and so not feel as violently fast as some other cars. Also the summer heat isn't good for taking people on test drives.

Agreed. A friend of mine had a standard RX7 and both cars were similar in speed. the Z felt alot smoother as opposed to the agressive throw you back in your seat action of the RX7.

Once you start modifying, Z's become alot more agressive in the power delivery

Na, think you guys have just rested my fears. Just thought it should be more mental than it is, but obviously not! Thanks.

Yep, come join us at the rolling road day on the 9th Sep, it's not that far from you...

Plus the chaps at Surrey Rolling Road are very helpful when it comes to diagnosing any problems. :)

To be honest i was driving to the motor show on Saturday the weather was warm heat was up to 3/4 fan coming on and still drove ok but i think it did loose a psi or two.....drives better at night when it's cooler

I had manual boost to 15psi on other my old Z and all hell broke loose at once. Was good, but really not the way you would want it for corners and that.

Now my new one is so smooth, prob with the same if not more power and doesnt seem as fast, lol. Just as people said, its so smooth you dont relise. Still fly past things though, muhahahahaha
