I've jus' bought a 1993 non turbo auto ZX. It's fine except when I reach 40(ish) MPH there is a grinding/grating vibration that can be felt right through the seats. It lessens as the speed is increased but returns as it reaches the 40 MPH zone again. I've changed the wheels and it's still there. Any ideas folks?

sounds like the centre propshaft bearing, which isnt that hard to DIY just need to undo exhaust centre pipes to access prop bearing, the bearing will cost approx £100 from your local dealer or try MJP in traders section
