I need my tracking sorted as it's really really out. But because I want new HICAS arms as well, with it all done together, it should be good.

 

Question about 4 wheel alignment. If the tracking is really badly out, will HICAS try and compensate for it? My car when I start off driving has the wheel pointing offset to the center. After a few miles of +60kph, the HICAS light will come on and after another few mins, the steering wheel will return to the centre position.

 

Bearing this in mind, when doing 2 wheel alignment, could this make the problem still worse if the rear wheels are on the piss to start off with because of HICAS?

 

Also, is the problem entirely track related?

Could be putting the light on because the sensor isn't central,have a 4 wheel alignment done,they should centre the wheel and all should be good!
