Hi

I think I read a tread on here about a guy who had his standard wheel chromed.

Did a quick search but couldn't find anything.

Does it ring any bells?

Dave's are polished alloy, not chrome plated.

Yes indeed :D

I was hoping to have them chromed, but found out they'd cost in the region of £1300 for the set, which wasn't worth it.

I've had them mirror polished instead, and I'm very pleased with them

The place that did them was http://www.pureklas.co.uk

They'll be on display at JAE tomorrow, as I've just had my wheels stud sorted ;) :duffer:

Total cost was £390

I had a choice....

Mirror polished = £240

Mirror polished + NEW sprayed on protector = £390

So I took the option, don't want to be fookin around with them all the time.

When are you fitting the bleeders then Dave? I'm dying to see what it looks like.

I fitted them Wednesday :D just couldn't be bothered to take any pics

JDM's, I couldn't get hold of any UK rears in time

doorslammer1968 has 2 UK rears he's selling and he's wanting £40 for those. GET THEM! Look so much better than JDMs.

I would, but theres no more money in the kitty to pay for anything else at the moment. I may consider this at a later stage :D
