Zcentre only list the "Rear Perspex Strip Without B/Light" on the website now.

Is it possible to remove the brake light portion from a perspex strip that has it and 'stick' it on to one of these non-brake light strips?

Does this 'non-light' version have a window for the light to shine through??

i bought one without the brake light when i was having my car resprayed cos the bodyshop cracked the original one.

as far as i can remember i dont think the brake light bit is removable although there is the outline of where the light should be so perhaps it would be possible to carefully cut it out.

and i dont think you can shine light through it as it just seems to be likethe rest of the panel.

if you give zcentre a ring im sure he'd be able to give you all the info.

Bummer.

I'll have to try and get hold of Luke then.

Nope it's not removable, you have to pay double the price for the one with the clear bit in it.

So, isn't there actually a clear bit in the non-brake strip?

The same mould is used in the manfucaturing process as you'll see a slight recess there where the clear bit is.

I've still not worked out why one is £80 and the other is £30....for what amounts to a little bit of clear perspex instead of black.
