People use txt spk as it takes up less space when you write on the phone (you only get a certain number of characters per text) and its faster.

if anyone else asked the question about the skyline asking for peoples views on it, there wud be loads of people saying what they thought. I never knew there was one and dont really think it looks that nice.

 

Why is everyone so upset about the txt spk anyway?, you say you want to use proper english then sumone complains about him spelling accurate by saying "btw that last post wasnt very accurate" surely if we want to use proper english it shud be by the way that last post was not very accurate :tongue:

you're quite correct, txt speak is a fairly normal thing nowadays, and it's definitely quicker.

 

 

 

It's especially useful when wearing copious amounts of sovereign rings if you're sending a message to "yo" ho's as you're trying to avoid the cops whilst driving that stolen cavalier/astra/civic etc! :x:

Incidentally "TXT SPK" is not that common on here down to 2 main reasons.

 

Firstly a lot of us are in our 30s and find it hard to read when not viewed on a mobile phone;

 

Secondly we all rip the living piss out of anyone who dares to use it :tongue:

 

As for other 'net forums, I wouldn't know as I don't visit enough of them to pass judgement.

Frankly I find "txt" one of the most annoying things know to man...its even worse than bits in your orange juice!
