Not much, but I'm getting the tailgate and rear bumper resprayed soon as there are belmishes on them and I want the thing to look as near-perfect as possible.

Can't decide if I want to keep the smooth de-spoilered look of mine. I like it, but something's telling me to possibly go lip spoiler. I do like those, but unfortunately, you loose the 3rd brakelight. 99-spec rear spoiler (as much as I like them) I don't think would look right on it, but that's only down to the colour of the car.

So maybe I'll keep it as it is. What's people's thoughts on this? I'm not talking the wiper off. Like to leave as much OE functionality on the thing as possible and besides, I don't want redundant switch-gear.

If you're in the mood for spending money in the bodyshop, painting the white "crossbeams" black would look good I reckon.

Also agree about the 99spec rear wing, can't see it on there and I'm not a fan of the tailgate skins with stock/99 lights as makes it obvious it's not part of the original design. (Unless you've got a black one :D )

Yep, same here. Painting the beams across looks good. Mine´s got it and i can´t remember who else it was but on a red car it looked pretty good and it´d be a cheap option

Have to say I AM a fan of the 99 spoiler and that's what I'd go for if I ever changed the 'naked' look of mine.

When you say beams, are you talking about the roof beams? Yes, this is something I've been thinking about too.

When the bumper gets repainted, I'm having all that nasty motled finish removed. It'll take some sanding as it's molding into the plastic. Getting the lower part of the front bumper done in the same way too.

Got to say I am not a fan of this new smooth Fashion :x:

They look ok but I cant help thinking somthing is missing when I look ayt one

I like the smooth look but, the more I look at the highline spoilers the more they start to appeal to me.

But highline spoiler without other body mods?

Gotto agree with Craig. Especially if you want to keep the OEM look.

It will also look so sweet with your 99spec lights.

IMO It's 99 spec or nothing mate...

Highline spoilers only look good on wide arch kits IMHO. I'm certainly NOT going to have one of those on mine.

Might have to be nothing as I'm not 100% sure that the 99-spec spoiler would look right on the pearl white. If I had a solid white, then for sure, I'd not even hesitate.

....an illustration...just not sure the spoiler goes well with the colour.

Si - from what I saw on Sunday, I'd just tidy it up. Can't think of anything you could put on that would make it look better than it does already.

I reckon you should put a ruddy great spoiler on the back , get 25inch wheels (chrome of course), Also maybe convert it to a pickup??

Helpfully Dave

Thanks mate, it's the tailgate and cracked perspex lense that ruin it. Just don't have the time to get it done at the moment although I have the cash for it.

Keep the tailgate as it is IMHO, but the black roof rails would look great.

As mick1 says, I'm not a fan of smoothing away the stonechip paint - makes the car look a bit bland I reckon.

Nissan put the stone chip paint there for a reason!

I wouldn't remove it myself.

The stuff on the bumpers is not stone chip paint. Just a horrible painted plastic finish which actually chips and flakes off due to that fact. Paint can't adhere to it because it's not a smooth and flat surface. The dips in the finish cannot be sanded and as such means that paint won't bond to it.

I've lost count of the amounts of Zeds I've seen with nasty scabby bumpers because all the paint's flaked off the bottom sections, not to mention that the finish is unsightly.

Mick1 was refering to the smooth tailgate. ;)

I like the 99spec spoiler and when my car is wide arched this winter my spoiler will look OK, but I forsee something more like a 99 spec.

P.S I do like the smooth look and your car does look well.

why not fit a stock rear spoiler :x:

Your jokes are older than you are Kev. You need to take some humour lessons from somebody. Preferably not yourself..... :wack:

Yes I was

Incidently, Eliza has had the finish all smoothed off...

Looks so much better and more slick because of it. Because of my beefcake of an exhaust, it'll glow in the paintwork...whereas, now it doesn't. I'll refit the pin stripe though.
