There's lots of annoying things that can make the car run like a bag of gerbils. Maybe its worth changing the temp sensor (very cheap and easy) to eliminate that. Its not a particular cause but just worth doing. Have you had a conzult on it? if you can find someone nearby then that will help check more things.

had the free version of consult on(demo) but shows up nothing :( or at least nothing that means anything to me. deffo a complete miss on no5 though

Oh, thats annoying. Don't give up in frustration though! Just go throught the stages until you find what it is. Do everything in the workshop manual, then start looking at dodgy wiring type things, I suppose you already are, but you'll get it eventually. I'm sure the techies will give some better suggestions soon.

yeah changed coil packs over and then the plugs missfire didnt change cylinders.:(

but have you acually removed the plug from the dead cylinder and seen it sparking, this will show whether its a fuel or ignition fault

no ill go do that now thanks :)

ok we have a spark as my now tinggling left hand proves :) must be fuel prob then :( now i really am starting to worry :(

i have a spark at least when not in the pot i have also checked resistance on the injector which is fine i removed the cas and all injector connectors apart from the 1 in question turned the cas and heared the injector click.so i have fuel i have a spark but still no fire :)any more ideas guys ?gonna do a commpression test but if thats fine im at a loss :(

With the engine running, get a long screw driver, stick one end against your ear, and the other end on top of each injector, make sure you can hear all the injectors clicking one by one. Could be a loose injector connector.

woooot back on all six :) couldnt do compression check as ive lost the bush for me tester (wrong thread)rebuilt her and bang we have 6 :) think it must have been cas connector not sitting right only new problem is smokes like mad from both zorst im hoping it just crap with been stood a while thanks for all yer help guys :)
