Looking to get our annual Boxhill to Brighton run organised before the weather gets too cold and winter sets in. For those that haven't been along before, we meet up at the lower overflow car park in front of Rykers Burger Bar/Cafe. There will be plenty of bikes there but we usually find some space :D

I'm looking at fiting this in on Sunday 20 August if there's enough interest!

Map to Rykers here

Meet up at Rykers at 12:00, leaving at 13:00 for a nice run down to the coast. Then get together on Brighton seafront on Madeira Drive at about 14:00.

Please vote above if you can/can't make it or post below!

LOL - he was a vindictive tw@t though :xxx: One of 'em wasn't even too small, he was done for having a watermark type logo on the background which you can barely see from more than 20ft way

Were you there on a bike fella?

Big thanks to everyone who turned up today and made this a great meet

As always nice to see some regular members and their passengers and of course a couple of new faces as well

Weather could have been better but we avoided the worst of it.

Commiserations to Jason and Jeremy for getting a tug from the old bill before we'd even left the Box Hill car park (see above post) :( Congrats to Paul C for doing a runner before he got summoned

Thanks to Sussex Stu for leading the way down to Brighton in his plumber's van (and overtaking us all at one point :D ). I know he was supposed to be heading home to Worthing, but he came down to Brighton and joined us for a bevvie at the Marina anyway :duffer: Hope to see you in your Zed at a meet soon bud

Huge personal thanks to Mark W for being my chauffeur for the day and running me back home afterwards

Once again, good to see club spirit alive and well :D

Pics and vids to be posted later ;)

Thanks for today, the beast looked wicked in the the mirrors, all be it in the plumbing van, How the hell we got to Brighton...............

Stu

Sorry if I lost anyone leaving Brighton- I wasn't sure exactly who was following me. What with it being bedlam right in the centre and finding an alternative route, I kind of lost track of who said they were going where. Anyway, hope no-one got stupendously lost.

Cheers for organising the rolling meet, Steve! Always a good-un :) There should be more convoy meets. :hyper:

And what about the classy lunchtime eating establishment? Mmm... that was a tasty fry-up :D

Sussex stu- LOL'd at you overtaking us round that bend!

A grand day out.

It was a good - if not (unexpectedly) expensive day !!! I'd personally like to thank Officer Jobsworth for doing a great policing job - he really is a credit to the farce.

Yep - I was there on my bike.

Good to see your cars down the hill - all looked good.

But most of all - thanks for taking the rozzers attention off our (much smaller) small plates and (extremely) noisy exausts - it was quite nice to sit and watch him harrass you lot instead of us bikers :-)

Please do come again -- how about this sunday too :-)

Shame I missed this one but did avoid some unwanted attention from the pesky pork chops - my front plate is tiny!

Where's the pics?
