Went to see Ben Harper at the Apollo London last night. I think its the best gig I've been to. Awesome musicians and the music is really suited to being live as well. I mentioned I was going a while back and nobody seemed to know who it was. Its well worth having a listen if you see it. Kind of hard to catagorize but Rock/Blues/Soul/Gospel lol!

Thats the one mate, a great band. I'm a big fan of the chillis as. I would have liked to have seen them live, ended up just buying the DVD and learning a few songs on the guitar!

Wish I had done that, had a blowout going down the M4 on the way home ended up costing over £400 :wack:

Dunno if I'd buy any of BH's stuff but as a live experience well worth it :D

Eek! Rac is the answer! My old escort run about broke down a mile from my old house in Gloucestershire (cough cough, ehem :) ) and ended up getting carried all the way to Cornwall (where it just so happens I was on the way to; more coughing and clearing of throat) . 250miles winner, although the car was fecked anyhow in the end but was more than worth the RAC membership.

I saw them as the support band for the Peppers in Reading. Absolutely fantastic! Their basist is HUGE! He played a solo which was amazing. Gonna buy his CD if there is one out there!

They've got a new CD out, I was going to buy it at the concert but the queue was huge. I like to always buy the good CDs to support the good bands.

Awesome! Gonna look for it in the shops. Very similar to Lenny Kravitz dont you think!?

Well I was in them but as it was a blowout and I had the requisite spare they weren't much help, just sent someone out with the right size spanner as I had an odd wheelnut :headvswal

Had to limp to the nearest reps shoebox and spend the night then in the morning the very nice people at Ztech lent me a spare set of wheels so I didn't have to drive the 100 miles home with a space saver on the rear, top service really should have made a more public thank you :nelson:

Vauge breakdown of cost...

2x Tickets £100

1x Room £75

1x tyre £150

Petrol £70

I'll stop now, I could have had a week somewhere hot all inclusive for that money and got far less earache
