The ones that hold my camber arm mounting bracket to the body!!!

 

Have I completely fooked it or can it be saved? I cant drive around with just one adjustable camber arm! :headvswal

You could try some of those 4wd sockets that clamp against the flats rather than the points, or you may get away with 6 point, rather than 12 point sockets.

Failing that mate, spray it thoroughly with WD40 or similar spray and use a set of mole grips on it.

Give them a hit with a hammer square on the head and that will sometimes break the seal that bolts get over time.

If they're really rounded off you can sometimes hammer a smaller socket size on and use that. Probably won't be able to use the socket after though so use an old one.

Use a good penetrating oil first though - Plus Gas is about the best.

try a hex socket rather than a 12 pointer, u should always use a hex where you can, much better than gripping the corners.

 

failing that, you have a few options:

take it down to ur friendly Kwik fit place or simelar, and get them to heat it while u slacken it off with a pair of stillies. (but be carefull cos some of the monkeys in that place will roast it so much theyl wreck the bushes etc..)

grind it off (access is probably too poor for that)

use a nut splitter (if access allows)
