speedo is stuck all the way round now into the 7 on the boost.this happend after a race with a r6 and it was stuck at 120 then shot round to over 180 .after i stooped the car got back in it and the speedo went all the way round and its stuck ,.

 

any ideas to mend this ???

how much and are they from a series 1 or 2

take the clear plastic off, and push it gently back, but id say you need new ones soon enough mate

 

think chunk has a set too for sale

in the for sale section - series one, with carbon fibre surround, £150.

maybe just a dodgy speedo converter if one is fitted m8?

as above though your still gonna have to remove the clocks and facia

to move the dial back manually, MAYBE just a bad earth or wire connection

best option though is deffo uk clocks

only had the car a few weeks so dont know what it has .looking into uk clocks now

if you pull the clocks forward m8 (after removing the odds and sods lol)

if it has a converter you will see a little black box wired into back of the clocks, getting uk clocks does away with the need for it

I think it will have a convertor Kev as i had it chaged to Mph before i picked the car up,it was done by Darren at D2 in kent if thats any use to you.
