How easy is a respray in a different colour?

Anyone had a change of colour and is it a good idea in the long run?

I presume it would cost a lot more?

Love my silver Z but when I get the bodykit fitted and have to have it resprayed I wouldn't mind a really flash paint job.

Bright yellow or pearl green like that one at billing/trax (whichever) with the tosser owner.

Chris the proper way to do it,is to strip the whole car down,But LEONARDO can change the colour no problem, but you will see silver paint on the inner wings when you lift the bonnet.

i think Michael Jackson tried it but if you've seen recent photos then i think you'd have to agree that in the long run it seemed to be a bad idea.....LOL

It's funny how this similar argument raged (probably still does) in the bike trade in the '80s (probably in the 1880's come to that: "Otto - NO - I told you that your steam engine wouldn't take over 120psi / you should stick to walnut frames 'cos everyone knows that only sad tossers want pine")

It seems that if you want to do a radical thing (colour change = radical; engine mods = radical etc - and so on) you will restrict the pool of prospective buyers. The more radical, the fewer the future buyers. (geez, I hope an English techer duznt c this)

Aesthetically, if you like the change is up to you (and stuff the rest). But just remember that this could make your baby harder and harder to sell. I can't remember any radical change actually making money for the owner.

That's not to say, don't do it - if you want to, go 4 it. Just don't expect to be able to get your investment back.

That;s why I'm Captain Stock. (and I'm boring, and I'm over 40, and I need to use the car every day, and I can't punctuate properly. Geez, what a wimp.)
