Centre console adaptation

Hi All,

I want to put a cover/flap on the alcove below the radio, on the centre console, to put off thieving gits in London stealing a HKS valve timer, that they would probably think is a stereo component. Has anyone else done this or has any ideas, I would rather have it on a hinge if possible.

All the Best

My ole' man has the Nissan maxima which has a 2 stereo set up but without the lower stereo. He has a hinged door that opens down. Not sure if it is the same size or whether it is adaptable.

Will measure it next time I see him which might not be for a couple of weeks.

Cheers Cos

I have a twin head stereo that is fixed so to cover it up when out of car I have attached sticky velcro to console and made up a black cover from plastic that also has sticky velcro on it - when leaving car I simply place cover over stereos and it's hidden...

(cut plastic to fit perfectly from top to clock \_/)

Thanks Rob was really looking for something with hinges that flapped down, but looks like I might have to go with the velcro.

Id take the EVC out I really would - specially down in that london place where there are lots of hooligans.

I suppose moving might be an option as well any suggestions senna???
