Hi

I am having a look at a possible purchase tomorrow at 11am in the SL4 area, and was wondering if anyone who owns one is around at this time to give me a second pair of eyes? A free :duffer: if anyone can help!

Don't know if I will be able to check the forum tomorrow morning, so if anyone can help my mobile nuimber is 07709806630. Thanks

Oh well....worth a shot.

I'm off to have a look, wish me luck!

Well I had a look, and was happy with things. Took the car for a test drive and behaved very well, parked up half way through test drive and let it idle for around 5 mins whilst I had look round car, and because the rain had stopped things started to become apparant. Cracked and scuffed front bumper, cracked spoiler and rust around the top of the windscreen.

Gave the car a rev whilst it was sat still and black smoke came out the back...overfuelling I decided. Started on my way back to the dealers and things started going wrong. The car was really hessitant in second and fourth, kangarooing and genrally misfiring.

If it had been only one of these things wrong I would have had it, but I am gutted as there were so many things that just didn't seem right.

On the plus side..it was an animal and I am more determined to get a good one!

good decision mate there are plenty of nice ones out there if u look.

Like the lads say, glad you left that one.

If you do want another pair of eyes to come along, try giving a bit more notice and you might have more luck.
