Had the afternoon free today, so got the Zed out of the garage.

More I drive it, the more I realise, people just really don't get how wide the Zed is and when at close quarters passing parked and oncoming traffic which seems to swerve out of the way at the last minute as they see this landcrab coming towards them.

Same here!,when I went for a spin tonight, some old dear in a Fiesta wanted all the fookin' road!-if I had wide arches-I wouldn't now! :wack:

LOL only had mine a week and thought it was just me being paraniod. Some idots came rushing up then realize how wide it is and the looks on their faces is just pure gold as they desperately try to avoid clipping me, while I'm shouting scratch it and your dead. :nono:

I've had mine a year nearly. But since the last 6 months of ownership, I've hardly driven it, it's like being a Zed virgin all over again.

Hadnt realised how much wider the wide arch kit is! :headvswal

 drif a little to there side and see what happen's  they move out the way VERY fast......... :)

we up in anglesey get a load of holiday makers, im sure they forget how to drive when they leave the city.

FFS they just push through parked cars I just got the car re-painted must be invisable paint, the problem is they drive 4x4's with heads so far up their own arses towing a jetski, and they don't give an inch if the zed get's scratched im lamping someone.

Are you sure people arent swerving out of the way because you are driving it in the middle of the road to avoid hitting your mirrors si? :x:

Don't get me going on 4 x 4 drivers. A few months back i had a right run in with some toffee nosed woman while out driving the REX. We have what I call the guantlet coming off one end of our estate. Narrow road no path on one side. Always parked cars on the other.

I was minding my own business as you do, my side is completely clear couple of cars behind me.

Some silly woman in a 4 X 4 rushes out of a side turning without looking and heads straight for me on my side of the road I cann't go anywhere not even up onto the pavement as there isn't any just a brick wall. Our cars are nose to nose she want move so I gets out and asks her nicely to back up into the space on her side.

The cow says "you move"

"The obstruction is on your side move out of the way" I tell her

She looks surprized and said "Whats that got to do with it, mines bigger than yours"

I was mad by now and tell her in no uncertain terms to read her highway code and get her fat arsh off my side of the road, and stop holding up the rest of the traffic behind me".

I don't go back to my car untill shes backed up the road into a space to cheers from behind me from thoses she also p*****d off.

lol - quality.

but I think you have some anger managment issues though :x: :x: :) :)

I have to say I agree with this. The amount of people I've seen who very abruptly change course when coming towards me is untrue. Nice one on the lady in the 4x4 as well. Those things really get up my nose.

Hey wait a minute I have a 4x4 and i dont get in peoples way I use pavements and grass verges quite frequently. LOL

but did you know my zed is actually wider than my discovery or range rover

(except Bobtail lol)

I'm used to driving Dodge Rams and stuff, so the Z is quite a skinny car in comparison  The good thing about the Z is that the steering wheel is on the correct side! :smash:

And better fuel economy I expect. :)

Yeah, still shocking though :( We had a Ram down to 6mpg once...
