Hi there,

I have had my zx now for about 18 months and now its starting to show its age so time for a respray. I just cannot decide whether to leave it standard or add a bodykit. I wanted something fairly easy to fit with no major hassles.

If i add a new front bumper from zcentre (such as scarab or carcept) will i have to add the side skirts etc to make the appearance look "equal" from the sides. Ideally i would like to add new front bumper, rear spoiler and change the rear light panel, so just modest changes. In addition i have seen some decent 18" alloys for sale. They are 8" front and 9" rear - i was thinking of 225's for the front and 245's for the rear but what profile would be best.

Any advice would be gratefully recieved.

235, 18, 35 fronts 265, 18, 30 rears and as for the bodykit question buy the things that you would like to see on your Z as everyone likes different things, but if going with full on detailed front bumper then I would recommend side skirts.IMO. HTH And before you ask which tyres are best, type in "tyres" in the forum search bar.

Theres no search facility for registered users dude.

In that case good tyres are Toyo Proxes and Goodyear F1s :duffer:

Hi there,I just had my car painted and put on a 99 spec front bumper,99 spec rear lights and a new standard rear spoiler,it has made a massive change to the look of the car,so if your buying a front bumper and not side skirts the 99 spec is the way to go,it still follows the lines of the car

The 99spec bumper is probably the only one that looks right without skirts. All the others have deep chins and really require skirts to look right.

You will need 255 or 265 on a 9" wheel.

The New Falken 452's are superb tyres too, and at a great price.

i hate bodykits just fit 99 spec front bumper
There are lots of things I don't like, but I try to stay positive and help out.

My front bumper doesn't hang too low, I don't have side skirts or a rear valance and it all looks fine.

I hope that helps...
