had my car put on a rolling road today and anything over the standerd psi it starts to be lean i.e 11psi then 1bar.

the chap who done it knows his stuff and said it could be a fuel pump problem and might need a uprated pump.

so far i have nisstek stage 2 chip

decat

apexi boost controller

apexi exhaust system

at 1bar it was 367.2 at the fly wheel

is it normal to change to a uprated pump or is there something else that it can be.it does have a new fuel filter on it

any help on this please

Very much doubt it would be the pump mate, yer no where near it's max flowing capabilities. Worth checking fuel regulator 1st but also timing is set at stock ( 15 degs) and not advanced at all. Have you a consult to check everythings okay ?

it did have a SAFC controller on it but was removed before i bought the car could this have done anything???

If your chip was also installed by nisstek, then they often retarded the timing so you would be overfueling rather than leaning out.

Not being from the mainland, ( so no idea) if yer not too far from kidderminster, arrange with John dixon to diagnose it for you, he can also check the map on the chip and see what's doing for you..

Either way, timing should be 15 deg mate, easy enough to check and alter.

cheers

just spoken to paul whos car it was and he said datascan was reading advanced at 25 would this be the reason you think ??

THat will be becuase you idle is too high. Fix idle problem and you should find it at 15 degrees at idle.

As for leaning out problem, get your fuel pressure checked.
