speedo problems

hello guys need your help, got my car on the road at last only took four months!!!

have a few problems the main ones are

1. speedo works when it feels like it when it stops working the mileometer stops as well is the speedo cable operated or electrical? how do i fix.

2. very bad fuel smell, so i have ordered a set of smithys fuel lines, but have been told by my NEW mechanic that there are other fuel lines in the engine bay also?

3. has an oil leak from front drivers side, OLD mechanic stripped car back to oil cooler and says he replaced a pipe but it is no better any other suggested places it could be leaking from?

apart from that the car goes like hell!! i thought my old 200sx was fast! i have still to try my adjustable boost switch on the highest position!

kindest regards

It's electric, there are a few write ups on here and links to other site on how to fix elements of it

Smithy’s kit will sort out all of them, you just need to cut one the longer of the two short hoses in half so that you have three short hoses to do the 2 x fuel regulator to injector rail connections, and the intake of the fuel filter hose.

When I bought my car it reeked of petrol, and tightening the hose clips didn’t help, but was instantly cured with Smithy’s kit.
