no worries, m8. Thanks for the carsurvey review (so you found it then eventually biggrin.gif ). My bloke pointed out that it was very odd to have propshaft run-out figures quoted in a service manual like Nissan do in the ZX's so perhaps the vibe is more fundamental than we all thought. Still, centre bearing next - might as well get the prop / UJs done at the same time (since the zorst will be off anyway - and this gives me the excuse to replace the rear bits of this sunce the visit from the rust monster we discovered when fitting the gearbox mount.) Oh, buddha, wish I'd never looked - would have been somewhat cheaper......

 

Never mind - still the best motor I've ever had. (grits teeth, opens chequebook, cancels holiday biggrin.gif )

 

Still, one day let me tell you about the £5,000 engine rebuild which happened to my m8's 30,000m BMW M3.
