Mate of mine from work who is also a memmber of this forum ( hey Tizz) took his UK spec Z to Halfords this morning for a compression check and Alternator belt re -fit. Halfords phoned him back saying that the Compression check would be 60 quid !!!!! and to change the Alternator belt would require the engine to be removed. Hehe.

 

Sorry but that is about the funniest shit i have heard this year. Do they have trained mechanics at halfords or is it just a case of solving this countries employments problems !!!

 

Moral of this story - don't take a Z to halfords unless you want a laff.
