hi guys

i need one rear tyre for my car, currently a continental contisport n1 245/40/zr16

i found a few 2 weeks ago on the internet and on froogle, but today its as if they have been wiped off the face of the earth!

I cant even search for the tyre size anymore let alone the tyre itself!

does anyone know where i can get such a tyre? Or where I can get that size tyre?!

thanks

darren

It should be 245/45/16 and not 245/40/16. Not a huge amount of choice but they are out there!

i tried them, they dont seem to have the continental anymore, they did last week. event tyres tell me continental are out in the UK till 3rd week august! surely someone must have one!

also is it safe to mix different tyres?

if i cant get a conti, what else is recomended?

it is safe as long as you have the same tread pattern ie cross ply or radial on the same axle. however i would suggest changing them in pairs ie fronts or rears.

i have toyo proxes t1r's on mine and cant fault them!

anyone else?
